The caterpillar class have been making the most of the sunshine in their new outdoor learning area. Nothing better to do on a sunny day than to go outside in the fresh air.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream!!
There was great excitement recently when the ice-cream truck came to visit the students and staff of St. Clare’s. With the sun shining down on us, everyone got the chance to order their own ice-cream. As you can see, they were delicious!
The caterpillar class had an amazing time on their very exciting school tour. Starting off the day with a journey on the bus, all the way to the magical Dennis’ Den. We had so much fun climbing, sliding, running and laughing. We had so much fun that we almost forgot to leave! But that’s not all. On the way home we collected a yummy McDonalds to top it all off. A great day had by all.
Construction morning in the Caterpillar class. We love to build with our straws, Octaphons and Lego. We love to see how high we can build. Fitting together and pulling apart help us to develop our fine motor skills.
We had great fun taking part in a walk for pieta house today as part of our amber flag initiative. Everyone went out in the sunshine in their green clothes for Saint Patrick’s day. We had the pleasure of being led by Deirdre on the bag pipes which was a real treat. Thank you to all families who fundraised and donated to this event. We are happy to have raised €_____
We were so excited to have a very special visitor at St. Clare’s. Santa and Mrs. Clause took some time out of their busy schedule to visit each of the classrooms in school. They enjoyed lots of performances from each class and even gave everyone a christmas present for all of their hard work. It was so good to see them and we wish them all of the best as they prepare for Christmas eve!Continue reading “Santa’s Visit to St. Clare’s”
