I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream!!
There was great excitement recently when the ice-cream truck came to visit the students and staff of St. Clare’s. With the sun shining down on us, everyone got the chance to order their own ice-cream. As you can see, they were delicious!
This term the Snowdrop Class worked on a Mural for a wall on the corridor leading to our classroom. The theme was ‘Flower Power’ our flower/ insect themed classes are represented by a wood designed and painted image assembled on a nature themed background.
We have resumed our outings to Clare Leisure World for bowling and we are joined by the junior classes who go to Tumble Towers. The Snowdrop Class are joined by students from Fuchsia, Sunflower, Primrose, Poppy and Bluebell classes. Our first trip was on Friday April 29th and our next trip is Friday May 20th with our final outing on Monday June 27th.
We had great fun taking part in a walk for pieta house today as part of our amber flag initiative. Everyone went out in the sunshine in their green clothes for Saint Patrick’s day. We had the pleasure of being led by Deirdre on the bag pipes which was a real treat. Thank you to all families who fundraised and donated to this event. We are happy to have raised €_____
We were so excited to have a very special visitor at St. Clare’s. Santa and Mrs. Clause took some time out of their busy schedule to visit each of the classrooms in school. They enjoyed lots of performances from each class and even gave everyone a christmas present for all of their hard work. It was so good to see them and we wish them all of the best as they prepare for Christmas eve!
